The Finish Line

Took me just over a month, but I finally made it to the final page of

Now I have to read it again, because only two-thirds of this monster made a lick of sense to me. Obviously, I haven't brushed up enough on occult symbolism and the physics of rocket propulsion...
Now I face a dilemma... Where do I go from here? GR is a tough act to follow... Should I dive back into pulp detective novels, celebrity tell-alls, and battered reprints of underground comic books? Or am I destined to become one of those obsessive Pynchon-maniacs, re-reading the same novel over and over again, trying find the cosmic meaning behind every word? Better yet, should I consider my job as a reader COMPLETE? Can I retire to a life of nose-picking and record spinning... Purge my bookshelf through an online auction and spend the money on liquor and plastic bags of hallucinogenic goodies? The mind reels...
